I love "natural aquarium" and "circling above. I also loved the shark video. The middle shark with the black tipped fins, was he a different breed or the male or.. it was beautiful.

Very cool Ron. These journals are fabulous. Did you meet Louis? It's also so telling that someone wants to go to America to see a pistol and a nuclear bomb and go to Africa to see the animals. The worlds perception of us is always eye opening.

My favorites are "natural aquarium / yap" and "sunrise over yap". I thought the shark video was cool, too, if only because I could listen to you breathing. Very nice!

First picture is striking. If you go to the Philippines, which is just next door to where you are, you'll find stunning skies and sunsets like that.

The beach: ever constant, ever changing. Has looked the same, different each moment, for all those billions of years! Nothing we've ever made in an engineering lab has those seemingly-conflicting characteristics.

What a great narrative! I discovered Ragged Island via Elisabeth Ogilvie's Bennett's Island trilogy, which I reread every 4-5 years, so I really enjoyed this visit - vicariously.
